What Fibroids are

Uterine fibroids are benign growths of the uterine muscle. Most fibroids do not cause any problems and do not require treatment but some can cause heavy periods leading to anaemia. If they grow large they can press adjacent organs such as the bladder leading to frequency of urination and the bowel causing constipation and bloating. the Cure

I specialise in a one hour procedure called Uterine Fibroid Embolization which I have performed at the Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital and The London Clinic, Harley Street over 2,800 times with a total success rate of over 95%. UFE was passed for routine use by The National Institute for Clinical Excellence in 2007 and has since been elevated to a Best Practice Tariff by the NHS.
